Democracy in Action at Longford Park today!

What an inspiring day. Our pupils took part in a full democratic process to elect this year’s team of Eco Warriors - and they did it in true election style!

We had a fully functioning polling station, complete with our very own election clerks on duty. Every voter arrived with their bespoke ID documents, collected their official ballot paper, and cast their vote in private before posting it into the ballot box.

It was wonderful to see the children embracing responsibility, taking the process seriously, and experiencing first-hand what active citizenship looks like.
