GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Visiting our Nursery and Admissions

LP outside playWe encourage all new parents to come and visit our lovely Nursery and meet our staff team. 

There are regular Nursery open mornings to show groups of parents around the school and Nursery, but if there isn’t one coming up our school office team can still arrange a convenient date for you to pop in and see us.

Information for Admissions to Nursery

  • 15hrs part time sessions of 2 full days and half day (either beginning or end of week)
  • 30hrs funding. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:40am-3:10pm. Wednesday 8:40am-12:45pm (option to top up to 3:10pm on a Wednesday is available at £15.00 per week for 3&4 year olds and £20.75 for 2 year olds, payable termly in advance)
  • 2yr old funded (FEET/FEE) are offered their 15hrs as above for 15 hours 3 year olds.
  • Working parents of 3 & 4 year olds maybe eligible for an additional 15 hours a week, an extended entitlement and often called 'Working Parent Entitlement' or 'WPE'.
  • Working parents of 2 year olds may also be eligible for 15 or 30 hours WPE

NB: Admission to the school nursery does not guarantee admission to Longford Park Primary School Reception Year.
