Warnock Class
Welcome to Warnock Class
Named after Mary Warnock - was an English philosopher of mortality, education, and mind. The Warnock Report was published in 1978 by a committee chaired by Mary Warnock. It was a landmark review of special education in the UK, significantly influencing policy and practice for children with special educational needs (SEN). The report introduced the concept of "special educational needs" and advocated for a more inclusive approach, emphasising the importance of integrating children with SEN into mainstream schools wherever possible.
