GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

    This week, some of our Year 5 pupils visited our local care home as part of our ongoing Intergenerational Project - and what a wonderful experience it was for all!

    They shared stories, games and laughter and these visits are a powerful reminder of the importance of human connection and community.

    A huge thank you to Banbury Heights Nursing Home residents and staff for always making our children feel so welcome. We’re extremely proud of our pupils for taking the Longford Park values with them wherever they go!
