Franklin & Nightingale

Again, this week the children have been very busy doing their home learning.

The Reception children have been focusing on 3D Shape in maths and have really impressed us with learning the new vocabulary and using the shapes that they had at home. We have seen some excellent grouping of shapes and talking about their properties.

The Nursery children have focused on the number 7 this week and have spent a lot of time finding things around their house that show ‘7’ and ‘not 7’. In STEAM, the children have been thinking about the new topic of ‘Art’ and listened to the story of ‘The Dot’. They then created their own dot paintings, using bright colours.

We have been so impressed with all of the hard work that the children have been completing over Lockdown and wanted to say a HUGE “Well done!” to you all. This includes parents, as we know that the children could not have done the work without you. Thank you!
