GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Parent Forum

What is the Parent Forum?

The Parent Forum is a partnership between parents / carers and the school. It is a valuable way for our community to share ideas, ask questions and make suggestions directly to school leaders.

The aims of the Parent Forum is to:

  • Work together to ensure every child at Longford Park has access to the best educational experiences; 
  • Share information, knowledge and skills from within our wider community;
  • Create and maintain a mutually supportive environment for all Longford Park families;
  • Collaborate to continually review and improve communications between parent/carers and staff/governors

There is typically one or two Parent Forum Representatives from each year group and meetings are held each term with the Headteacher to discuss school operations, share ideas and drive forward parental engagement.  If you would like to be part of the Parent Forum at Longford Park, please contact the school office on info@longfordparkschool.org or speak to your current class rep.
