School Meals
We are lucky to have our own large kitchen where our wonderful cooks prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our children. From September 2024, our meals will be catered by Aspens.
See below for the menu and Special Diet Form for the season ahead - don't forget to book your child's school dinner using:
As per Government guidelines, all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal (UIFSM) and we strongly encourage all parents to take up this provision.
For children in Nursery and Years 3 - 6, a school meal currently costs £2.53.
If your child is entitled to Free School Meals through benefits-related eligibility, there is no charge for meals.
We are a healthy school, which means children exercise daily and bring healthy snacks in their lunchbox. Please see the healthy lunchbox guide for more information.
If you think you might be eligible for free meals, after year 2, then please complete the Pupil Premium Form below.
The updated guidance (5th June 2025) says:
- Transitional Protection has been extended until the end of the 2025/26 academic year.
- This means any pupil who has become eligible for FSM on or after 1 April 2018 should continue to receive FSM until at least July 2026, regardless of changes in income or benefit status.
- From the start of the 2026/27 academic year, Transitional Protection will be discontinued. At that point, new eligibility criteria will apply.
- From September 2026, all children from households receiving Universal Credit will be automatically entitled to FSM, removing the current income threshold of £7,400.
