People who help us!

This week the children have been in for a real treat with lots of visits from professions with people who help us!

Dogs for Good visited the Nursery and Reception with not one, but two assistance puppies! Bex was the smallest at only 7 weeks old and is a black labrador. We also had Tucker, a larger assistance puppy who is a yellow labrador. The children heard all about how the puppies are trained to help their human friends around the house as well as act as a friend and companion.

Thursday saw a visit to Year 1 from George and ?? A local dentist and his dental assistant. They came and spoke to the children about the importance of keeping our teeth clean and were also given a challenge to brush their teeth every night for a full 2 minutes!

Friday was no exception! Year 1 welcomed PCSO Rob Bliss and his colleague along with a marked vehicle. The children got the chance to see the blue flashing lights and hear the piercing siren. They also asked lots of questions and found the whole visit fascinating. We would love to see them all back soon.
